Electric Vehicle Risk Sharing Facility

Electric Vehicle Risk Sharing Facility

SIDBI, in partnership with Shell Foundation, has launched the Electric Vehicle Risk Sharing Facility (EV-RSF) to accelerate EV adoption in India. The initiative aims to de-risk EV loan portfolios of Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs), enabling affordable commercial financing for electric two, three, and four wheelers and related ecosystem investments like charging infrastructure. By reducing lender risk and improving credit access for MSMEs, fleet operators, and new-age financiers, EV-RSF supports India’s net-zero and EV30@30 goals.
